Hey all, my season starts this coming saturday, and iv got to get my final team roster done before then, but the question im asking, how important is a high FF for dark elves in an 8 game season?

It's only a game if you win, but if you lose it's a stinking waste of time.

yeah high ff is important for any teams as you will get more money.
But i think its especially important for elves as they have expensive players to buy/replace.

High FF is important for every team - over a league season of 8 games or more. More money is vital to strengthening your team and Elves are expensive.

Zombie, of all people, used to have some really good posts on the necessity of high FF. Someone should give you a link to one of the less condescending one's.

Not to worry. Zombie's views on the subject are archived on Galak's website ( http://www.midgardbb.com/Tactics/FF9_BB2k1_Zombie.html )

It hardly sounds like Zombie, though. He actually thanks you for reading it at the end.

...I guess that's the reason why Galak archived this article. Zombie showing any form of respect for his readers was a historical event that had to be recorded!!!

Thank you, Galak. As I've said before to many people, your site is a great resource.

I've pointed that article out to many local people who don't believe in high FF, and it usually persuades or at least causes a rethink.

I player of my league first showed me the site of galak and we both read the articles there and felt we where cheating the other guys in our league. We where the only ones that started with FF above 5 (out of 10 people)

I hope you all enjoyed the crispy version of me.
