I thought I would take the apothecary from the beginning because I will be against strength teams such as chaos, norse, orcs and dwarfs and I don't want a dead team.

2 TRR isn't very much. I'd seriously consider swapping the apoth for a 3rd TRR.

You don't really need him at the start as few teams are really capable of hurting you much.

I agree with Ian here, but then you might get very unlucky and get lots of players hurt in your first game.
Its a small gamble but its cheaper to buy the apo than another reroll.

i agree about the re-rolls. would you buy an apothecary first or top up to four blitzers?

I would also swap the Apo for a third TRR, as they are twice as expensive when you buy them later. Otherwise your team looks pretty solid.

In the future (after buying the Apo) I would first buy a 3rd catcher instead of a 4th blitzer as these are the guys that get picked on and their only chance is in numbers or having a bodyguard (blitzer).

If I were you, I'd seriously think about changing the extra lineman and the apothecary for a pair of rerolls, then downgrading a Blitzer into a thrower and putting the extra savings into a 9 Fan Factor.
