Yeah... the question is who will play Figo or Beckham. Damn those big clubs! They just buy all the players they can!

I've read they want to sell Figo away as they have two right midfields now... Don't know if this is a rumour or accurate, though.

I dont know if zidane goes back to marseille, but I do know that beckham isn't the best footballer in the world. Last season at Man Utd he didn't play that much and he was sitting on the bench at the most important games. I really think Real madrid got him purely for the merchandise, beckham is a really big fish bringing in lots of sponsors (money) and with his relative low transfer price, real madrid is going to make big money out of him!! Well I think it's a shame all the good players are going to big clubs. Just think about it, Figo or beckham on the bench just because they have two world class players, its a damn shame!!

It's true they might have bought him for merchandising! every year this club has a 30 millions € hole in bank. The king has to put some money every year!

True, but he has had some 'disagreements' with his coach. That was the main reason there.

The coach was his former mentor and trained him from early days on, but being an old school guy from the older generation he got itches from Beckham being glamorous and a merchandise-machine instead of sweating his arse off on the pitch like a workhorse.
