I know there are a lot of teams that need updating, and I had the idea that they should just plan to do the teams at the same time as they do the armies. They are doing sculpts of new lizard men right now, why not do the new team at the same time.
They would still have to do some catching up to get the teams looking 6th edition (warhammer) but from here on it would make sense.

In my humble opinion, they should take a few steps backwards and make them look like 2nd edition (blood bowl). This is a fantasy sport game - the ideal figure looks like a player of fantasy football. Not like the 3rd ed longbeards, for example, that look like dwarven warriors without axes.SgtCaples wrote:have to do some catching up to get the teams looking 6th edition (warhammer)

I have to agree with Anthony, I liked it better when they just called each position catcher, thrower, lineman, blitzer, without regard to race of the team. No need to follow the WFB naming as this is a different game. BTW I like the look of the new elf minis and I plan to get a set whenever they are released.

I totally agree to you all - the second edition minis look much nicer (maybe because they look like Bloodbowl Player and not like WHF Minis that lost their weapons ...)
To bring back the old position names would be a great boon in my eyes. All in all more of the old sports-fluff would be very nice ...
Can anyone remember the old White Dwarf magazine where the 2nd edition was first introduced ? It was an article over a few pages and is really awesome ... that's the stuff Bloodbowl really needs
