Maybe if it works out that well, we could take on two teams, but without all that extra stuff, like Re-Roll markers and so on. Could be a "versus" thing, where the better team gets voted in the end.

Re: Nurgle TFF Legacy Team 2014 Sign Up & Progress Thread
Last year's halfling team was one of the best supported legacy teams to date, with 22 contributors. Around 1/3 of the original sign-ups (30ish in total) dropped out and this has been the same pattern for the 2 legacy teams I've run, and the 5 I've contributed to.
Two teams would be fantastic, but the realist in me says that we should aim for just one

Or a Spring and a Fall team?... I, myself, think the consept with one team each year is good enought.DinoTitanedition wrote:Maybe if it works out that well, we could take on two teams, but without all that extra stuff, like Re-Roll markers and so on. Re: Nurgle TFF Legacy Team 2014 Sign Up & Progress Thread
Well, it was just an idea. Since the choice of teams is gonna run out some time and I`m pretty sure, with some rosters there are going to be only a very few participants. I wonder why the Khorne roster isn`t included. Yeah, yeah, it`s from the Cyanide game, but I kind of liked it.
Okay, less talk, more pictures! I`ve selected the parts for my rotter, or better I simply grabbed what I found of pieces which were already somehow cut and glued them together. About the head(s)....well, three is a charm, isn`t it?
All still raw and there`s gonna be some green stuff to attach, but I`m still kind of satisfied the way it turned out yet.

Looks good!
I'm thinking of using a Plaguebearer as a pestigor. It will get horns, naturally . Are there more plaguebeares 'on the move'?

Re: Nurgle TFF Legacy Team 2014 Sign Up & Progress Thread
Seeing as we're starting to post WIP pics, here's my WIP Pestigor:
He's a conversion from one of my Beast Face Miniatures beastmen. I've plagued him up a bit with some warts/bubos, given him a little nurgling companion, a belly and a slightly more padded rear end I still need to do the horns which will be getting something suitably nurgly in due course.
While I was taking pics, I thought I'd do a quick tutorial on making simple warts in case anyone wants to try it on their figures (also useful for creating armour studs and the like):
Step 1:Roll out a small blop of greenstuff
Step 2:Flatten it to approx 1mm thickness using a sculpting tool or similar on the surface you want the wart/stud
Step 3:Stamp out the wart using the nib of an engineering pencil. Make sure you lubricate your engineering pencil (I dip it in water) otherwise the greenstuff will stick. Press down hard to the surface you are attaching it too (like using a biscuit cutter)
Step 4:Carefully pull away the excess greenstuff using the blade of a sculpting tool or craft knife
Step 5:Finished wart (I did the tutorial one a bit carelessly, but you can see what the results can look like on the inset pic)
Hope that's useful!

Just as a suggestion for next time. Maybe Axiom could drop a PM to the participants of the previous year's Legacy team when you post the next year's sign up thread?Shteve0 wrote:Dang, arrived late to this year and it's filled up fast - fantastic

what about making fans, coaches, cheerleaders, etc for those who missed the sign in?

Yep - plenty of opportunities to make stars or sideline figures, or casualty markers & leader re-rolls, or even fans. If anyone is dead set on making a player, you can sign up for additional Rotters & make a fully flexible squad.DixonCider wrote:what about making fans, coaches, cheerleaders, etc for those who missed the sign in?

Re: Nurgle TFF Legacy Team 2014 Sign Up & Progress Thread
I did consider this but decided against it as it could lead to the team being fully populated by those in the know & no opportunity for new folks to get involved.Spiky wrote:Just as a suggestion for next time. Its a tricky line and I'm not sure which is the fairest/best approach...
