I have seen the DS version and it is TERRIBLE

Which is what it should be. At the end of the day if the controls work, the graphics are up to or about usual DS standard, and most importantly the game plays well and the AI is half decent, then there's really nothing to whinge about.

I'm waiting for the xbox360 version myself, but as it's a long way off and I'm bound to see a pre-owned copy on the DS at a reasonable price before then, I'm likely to end up with it on the DS too.

ok this game is starting to get really annoying.
I've replayed the same turn over 8 times now but no matter what I do (score, don't score, lose the ball, wait for half time) it won't load the "team set-up" screen properly so I can't continue!!!

Seriously, I'm going to write a complaint, I mean PC games with bugs is one thing, you can fixe those but a DS game with bugs like this one is just plain rude.

Maybe its all bad luck...like i´ve said,im playing the rom on a DSTT card and all is ok.

From time to time,the game freezes on the team set up but thats it...i normaly save before i score.

Anyway,goodluck on that.

no this is beyond bad luck I think, I save a lot too to avoid having to replay entire matches but now I'm stuck in round 7 or 8 of the first half (I did noticed during replaying that turn 8 times that the AI doesn't use the same tactic over and over, it actually does different things. That's good I guess.
Will try again tonight...

I had a similar problem. One of my custom set-ups always crashed the game, if it came up on the setup screen. I think it has something to do with losing a player that was on that setup and trying to change the plan when he's not yet replaced. That's my hunch at least.

Found no fix, had to just stay clear of that setup and go with the pregenerated ones and modify them.

Only happened on the other team though.

ah and it always starts with Custom 1 which is probably corrupted and there's no way to delete the custom set-ups :s
sucks! I was halfway through the third league. Well, I guess it's delete team and start over.
