3rd skill for BC

Post by Juggernaut »

my BC just advanced and I don't know what to give him as a 3rd skill. he has Block and Break Tackle. my other BC has +1AG, Block and Sure Hands, so he is a totaly different player.
What do U think is the best choice for my BC?

Strip Ball and Tackle are good choices. You could also go Mighty Blow or even Guard. A (possible) MA 9 assisting anybody on the field could be a threat! Plus, at ST4, he's tough to get rid of...

Same for me, nowhere else to go. I find MB a waste on a bull prefer to give it too the CD's. Bulls can make use of the better skills

i agree, to some extent, that tackle would be useful in a dodging heavy league. assuming your opponent doesnt have block, you get the ball loose 5/6 w/ strip ball, 4/6 if he does. w/ tackle, that only happens 3/6, or 2/6 if he has block.

I'd actually say the point was how many Sure Hands ball carriers are there? Dodge in general isn't a problem when you've already got 6 Block Tackle players. Also just having a mobile strip ball player forces your opponent to keep the ball with those players who have sure hands.

Depends whether you want to use him as a turnover machine or just to pick of strays. if he's after the Ball carrier, then its got to be strip ball ( Depending on the amount of sure hands in the league of course ).

I tend to think that you've got enough tackle with your Blockers , but a motre mobile tackler may be a good ooption.

So: Strip ball for me

You are right ian, completly forgot that he also had dwarves.
Off course you take strip ball then as tackle is not needed that badly.

From the original post, if you are using Juggernaut, that would be cool, defenders cant use block or dodge when you blitz them thats cool 8)
