When to send a bbm PBeMBBL file

Post by TiMuN »

Hi all .. i need a quick answer to this, otherwise, stupid question

My first match at PBeMBBL, and i'm facing DarkLord's Humans.
On my first turn, i have managed to bad hurt one of his players, but he has an apoth ... do i have to stop here, and wait for his decision on using the apoth, or keep playing untill my turn is over, then tell him to use apoth or not, and if the player comes back, put it in the place he was?

What's the method here?

Hi

If you have questions regarding the pbembbl league you could post them in the pbembbl-forum - just click at "forum", and there is a section called "aye ref, Ive got a question" (or something like that).

On the apo question, I would continue my turn but avoid using the syuare in which the player was injured, and if you cannot do that, then mail your opponent. This saeb'ves a lot of mails back and forth (I have found that normally in pbem you can just use common sence and your opponent will agree to your decisions).

Best,
Rupert

Usually it's fine to let him choose to apoth at the end of his turn..unless you want to move through the square that is now empty and would be occupied should he use his apoth siccessfully...in which case send it now..

Well, i agree, and have read some posts at PBeMBBL (also posted the question there, but i needed a quick reply), but here comes the next question regarding this ..

So you hurt or kill one of the players, and not step on that square. Fair to me. But then, it is quite important for game play and strategy to know wether if there WILL be a player there the next turn or not, so you can move your ball carrier there, form a defensive formation here or there, etc ...

Yep, thats important to remember. I just won a game in the rebbl cause my opponent didnt think I would care to use apo on a BH'ed player but I did and he could reach the endzone and be open for a pass :D

If its affects the game like this you should save and ask your opponent if he use the apo.

Go ahead and do the apothecary roll for me if it was a positional player.
If it was a lineman then leave him hurt.
