Gee, thanks to you all!

Post by Fronko »

Hi guys!

I just wanted to express my gratitude for making my wood elves rule the league!

With a record of 8-1-1 this was my most succesful season ever. :o And I believe part of this honor belongs to everyone helping me out with any piece of advice you could spare.

Thanks got to Marcus, Bloodbasher Masher, Nermal, Thadrin, Pariah, Darkson and even Zombie. Thanks also go to Anthony_TBBF and Skummy, that WOULD have helped, hadn't I chosen wood elves. And of course to everyone else being involved in my threads.

Special thanks got to:
ianwilliams - for fastest and most reasonable responses
wesleytj - for that inspiring article about woodelf strategy which started it all
johnnyp - for this whole place

Now, back to business!

People here actually HELP Wood Elf coaches? I mean, come on people, the fact that they dress in green doesn't make them Orcz you know!

Nice to hear you are doing this well m8 (a fellow WE coach here). And I see you play the same teams I do this season, WE and Dwarf. For me tho it goes better with dwarf this season than WEs.

Good luck on the following campain and keep up the good work :D

Grumpf!
Just won against Woodelfs with my Chaos Dwarf team (both TR100). He was quite professional with those (he won last years league season with WEs) but I squished him 2:1 (plus 3 injuries, he, he, he). I guess Nuffle supported my bc I played with vintage Chaos Dwarves.

I haven't searched out the thread you have spoken of. But tell me Fronko, did effective use of leap factor in them at all, and/or have you used it to good effect.

Never seen a great many games with Woodies but of about 10 leaps by Wardancers I think 1 succeeded. After that there usually weren't any wardancers left.

I was wondering if your new-found success ran counter to that evidence or if you succeeded in spite of it.

I guess that's the kind of reputation i have online, with you having to write "and even" before my name! Doesn't bother me though, it's kind of cool actually.

hmmm

The way I keep rolling '1's' with my Welf team I'd never get 8-1-1

I guess, that if your avatar was a muppet or so, there possibly hadn't been "and even"! Well, at least I could imagine that...

Muppets rule!

You mean like the two grumpy oldies being triumphed in their sarcasms by a third one that's been digged up from his grave?

Sounds more like Meet the Feebles than the Muppets to me :D
