Dodgy ebay seller warning

Post by Indigo »

Hi,

Just thought I'd let you all know that I've just been f**ked over by an ebay seller:

auctions@planetcomics.net

lost about £14, but because the cost to recover any money is £15 I get NOTHING

v upset

so now I ask - does anyone have BB mags 1, 2 & 3 they can sell to me for about £8 max inc. shipping?!?

that's their user ID - I think ebay may have shut them down now, just wanted to say "watch out"

esp. if they offer BB mags with no pic or details

Dude,

Have you approached them advising them that you will file a case with the Police on this? It is of course Fraud but you need to be absolutely clear before you go down these lines. I'm in the stage of approaching them now to see what I can find out. There is of course the problem of misunderstanding so need to find our their view as well of course.

But, in all honesty I don't think you'll pick up BBMag#1 on its own for £8 including shipping. I've managed to get one of these myself at last and the price wasn't cheap but I still considered it a good deal. And before you ask it was just over £20. The others you will find on Ebay as well on occassion but if you're looking for a set then be prepared to pay up to £50 plus shipping. Might seem expensive now but what price will they be in 5 years time? Thats what you've got to ask yourself. As a collector I've got to say though, they're great reading! Some good articles.

But if you're after these then you should be also checking out the Citadal Journals as well of course. And now you're talking some serious cash as well though. Okay, they're only after to 50 issues and you don't need the lot of course as not all have BloodBowl information in them but just to let you know some idea of costs. CJ#3 cost me about £30 with #2 going regularly up to £60. #1, lets not even go there!

Ooo i got some old citadel journels not the very first few though :/

Indigo, thats harsh thing to happen, as bigd said get in contact and try and sort it. If they are ignoring you its not hard to get the address of the person who owns the domain and i also believe their telephone number. Also don't know if you have checked out their website either.
