Wanted: Lustria (or similar) game mat

Post by outcast »

Hi, does anyone know where I might be able to get something like this in time for Christmas (UK delivery)?

http://www.comixininos.com/blood-bowl-a ... ninos.html

I've been tasked with sourcing a present (for myself :-)) and have contacted Comixininos to see if they could deliver in time but not heard back yet so I'm guessing not. It looks like this particular mat is made by them but I wondered if anyone knows of a UK-based company doing something similar?

Thanks

Don't know about the field in question but most of these mats are made by FF Fields. They're an Italian company found at this website: www.ff-fields.com - don't know any UK dealers, sorry.

These guys make a whole stadium.

Not cheap. But looks cool. I might be tempted one day if I don't try to make my own.

no, I don't, which is why they aint for sale! :P

Galak did a limited run on vinyl of some pitches which Majortusk (Andy Welton) designed back in the day. I donated the chaos hell pit to charity, but kept the swamp as a promise to myself that one day I'll finish my slann team and they'll have an awesome home field to play on..

I haven't finished the team yet, so I guess that day hasn't come..

there was also an ice pitch which I kept for my Norse team the Fjord Mustangs... :D

Andy's designs were lurvely, but I suspect they infringed on a lot of IP and Copyright laws, hence the limited run.. :-?

You can't do a slaan team until you paint a team for me...and I've been after you for years.

I don't remember seeing these pitches...hmmm...may have to see if they still exist.

I am still embarrassed. I had to have been drunk or hung over. Man that team was so pretty.

Proud of the name though. 8)

Someday, you'll forgive me and paint a team....some day... :smoking:

I think I'll have a stadium too when I get my dedicated game room after our remodel. Maybe, if my wife will let me.
