Normally I use a template with the markings, fix it on the field and airbrush. This is not really working for static grass, because of the "high" grass.
Because of the tile spacers this was not necessary.
But it was really boring to cut the tiles and to glue them on the board (I think I watched 4 NFL games while doing this).
So - No I don't think there will be a lot of them in the future...
On the other hand I have 3 of 4 bags with static grass left

Using a pencil you press the "stone structure" in it and paint it using normal colors. Very easy to make - but it's working only for stones and not grass.
