Looking for a DeathZone Box Set
Does anyone have a DeathZone box set in good condition they would be willing to sell? I am looking to start a Blood Bowl tournament in my area, but would like to get the expansion prior to making the commitment.

You don't need the full set and there really isn't a lot to aid league play that isn't readily available here or on other reference sites.
I have many components in my web store (check out link below) more specifically I have a few of the rules books if you just want one of these to see what could benefit you! OK?

That depends on whether they are playing LRB 5, or sticking to the old style rules.
Grey, welcome to the board. Where are you? I have a Deathzone box that i'm not using. Gimme a PM if yer interested. If you want just the rule books, go to Tritex.

As Hoomin said, DZ is only really useful if your group is going to stick with 4.0 rules....
If, by chance, you are not in the European area (where Hoomin and Tritex are) but in the Americas, I too have a near-mint set I'm not using since I play the current 5.0....
PM me if interested....

Isn't DZ pre-LRB4? I thought that it came-out with 3rd Edition.Vomit Lickspittle wrote:As Hoomin said, DZ is only really useful if your group is going to stick with 4.0 rules....

Grey, if you plan a tournament, you may want to consider using LRB4 or LRB5 rules. I personally think that these rule-sets are better than 3rd Edition with DZ.
LRB5 is what leagues and tournaments tend to be converging towards, although some of them are sticking with LRB4.

Yep, DZ isn't much use unless you're running vanilla 3rd edition.Cramy wrote:Isn't DZ pre-LRB4? I thought that it came-out with 3rd Edition.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Fool, you could have taken the Piling On-Jump Up combo!fen wrote:3rd Ed Diving Tackle! WHEE!
(I recently got to play Khemri in a league that refused to switch from 3rd ed. So every doubles I got for a mummy was Diving Tackle.)

Khemri in 3rd ed is...just...wrong. With those fouling rules they rule supreme!

heehee I know, they house ruled in all the teams from the LRB but refused to switch to the LRB because the comissioner hated LRB4 and thought that LRB5 was the same thing... Also to quote one of the players (before I eliminated his lizardman team.) "3rd Ed Blood bowl is the best and most balanced."
So I just simply abused the system and ended up having a real good time, at the expense of everyone else. (2+ Regen rolls anyone?)

Wasn't it a 3+ roll? Anyway, your league mates get what they deserve.fen wrote:So I just simply abused the system and ended up having a real good time, at the expense of everyone else. (2+ Regen rolls anyone?)

Ok, we still play with the DZ cards and some other 3rd ed. rules. It's not easy for me to convince them 100% of the better system.

Reading my sig was by about three seconds of total waste of time.
