Inadvertently buying home repair tools

Post by MusedFable »

Without realizing it I’ve purchased a bunch of tools, enough to require a tackle box. Not that I use my tackle boxes to put tools in. Where would my mini’s go .

I’ve bought more tools for miniatures than I have for anything else. I have: a dremel, vice, various pliers, x-acto knifes, superglue, epoxy, plumber’s putty, a nifty little saw, sandpaper, files, and various other things like wood, bits, and half finished projects. Eventually I'll be buying major power tools to make scenery (I can see it's a gradual process).

I just noticed this when I went to the hardware store to buy some new bits for my dremel and was staring at the air-pressure attachment and an air compressor. Then a worker made some smalltalk about how he just bought an air compressor because he works on cars. I replied by saying “oh, that’s another use for itâ€

:D I know exactly what you mean. You're buying tools and the "macho" guys think you're going to do something a little more "manly"....
