Looking For Warhammer 40K Orks

Post by Karl Lagerbottom »

I'm just getting back into 40K and am trying to start an Ork force. Anyone have some of the older Orc boys? I'm not too impressed by the new plastics...I'd especially like to get a hold of an old unit of Storm Boyz.

I'd also like to see what the older Ork Boyz on bikes looked like. I like the idea of the Speed Freaks, but don't like the new bikes too much.

Thanks in advance. -Rob

I've got what you need. When I get home I'll start getting together the list. Did you want the really old Stormboyz without backpacks or the ones with the backpacks. I have both kinds as well as some FASA Orks that look like the earliest Stromboyz.

Do you want any other Boyz? I have tons of 40K Orks I'm never going to do anything with. If I can turn them into some cash to get me to a few tourneys, that'd be great!

To be honest, I'm not sure what the old old Storm Boyz look like...I vaguely remember them having officer's caps in the same style of the Imperial Guard's Commissars. I think some may have also had the kaiser helmets like WWI Germans.

If they both do I amy be interested in both. The jump-pack guys for my actual Storm Boyz, and the rest can just be Boyz with the same flavor.

Does anyone know of a website with the od GW 40K range?> Something like Traveller's site, except with the 40K angle.

Sorry. You're going to miss a lot of sleep.

All the Stormboyz have the German style helmets. The onlder guys would make great boyz and the jumpack guys are the ones you're originally thinking of.

I have to get you some pics. Is that all you're interested in? WWI German-style Orks?

Snots...great website! Thanks. :)

I am interested in more than the German-style guys...these are just the guys that I am primarily interested in. Also...I haven't looked at the site that extensively yet, but do you have any older Ork Boys on bikes? I'm not a real fan of the new ones, but tactically see the need for them.

I also want to grab a bunch of metal gretchin/gobs. Again...I don't like the 3rdEd plastics.

Let me know if/when you get some pics of your stuff and/or if you have an inventory of what you have.

Thanks. -Rob
