Easiest team to assemble only from Reaper Miniatures

Post by CauCauCau »

I'm looking for a bit of advice. I'm not a huge fan of the actual Bloodbowl miniatures (though Ramtut looks pretty cool) and I was wondering what you all think would be the easiest team to assemble from converted reaper miniatures. My initial guess would have to be Undead since so much of their Dark Heaven line is undead.

I'm also thinking that dwarves might have a suprising potential in this department.

Anyone elses thoughts? Specific miniatures you'd use?

Thanks,

^Cau

Undead would probably the route to go for Reaper (good Vampires, Werewolves, and a Flesh Golem) and don't forget to check out their Warlord Line for Khemri, Beastmen and a really good Minotaur.

Yeah, undead or Khemri would be the top picks for Reaper figs. Theres the odd other fig/race that would fit, but not enough for a team.

Yeah, I'd have to go with Khemri Undead, too. They have a three-pack of mummies in the Warlord line and the Mummy of Hakir in the Dark Heaven line, and any number of skeletons. All the Nefsokar mummies and various Egyptian-themed figs in Warlord make great support staff, too.

Some time back, before Khemri and Necromantic teams were even introduced, I ordered an entire Undead team's figs from Reaper. Of course, I've still never gotten around to actually doing anything with them yet, and they're still rather far down on my list of projects... but at some point in the future, they'll make a damned fine looking team! :)

Use their Warlord range for Khemri mummies and get a box of WH Khemri Skellies for the other positions.

Their latest Greens page (12 Aug 04) has the best Ramtut mini!

Excellent suggestions everyone. Thanks!

I'm almost thinking dwarves might be possible too. Though it might just work better to buy a box of fantasy battle dwarves and convert them, adding in the occasional reaper dwarf for the position players.

Removing their weapons ofcourse:
