It seems to me that the most sensible solution would be to keep it officially NO spp's for fouling but house rule it otherwise if you wish. The guys I play with aren't likely to engage in frenzied fouling to specifically gain SPP's, so we can use it safely (they would engage in frenzied fouling to kill players or win games but that's a different kettle of fish). But I can see that some, less noble :wink: coaches would use it for low deeds.


I find that fouling doesnt always have as big an impact on games as might be thought. Most of our games are close affairs, so having a player sent off, causing a turnove and possibly giving your opponent a man advantage, could mean the difference between winning and losing. This would have to be off set against the possiblilty of putting one of your opponents best players out of course, but thats the game i spose.
