Alas, I'm not too well this morning... might be bad form to turn up and either fall asleep on / vomit on my opponents' teams each game, so won't be coming after all.

Was really looking forward to making (a very rare these days) appearance!

Hoping to get to Bunker Bowl in March though, so might see some of you there!

Got home about 30 mins ago. What a great tournament! Made up to have done so well... 3/0/3 but losses in my last two games vs Goo & Besters were to be expected! Serves me right for reaching the top tables! Thanks to Ade, the Huntingdon league guys and all the linemen that were crushed under my boot heels and provided me with so many casualties!

I'll definitely be back next year for more POWERGAMING.

A great, fun, tournament as ever. Congrats to Jim for another win, and all the other winners. BillyDee will return next year...

On a side note, given that I was beaten by the overall winner, and the Stunty winner, allowed the TD and CAS champs to score against/kill me, and that I beat the spoon winner, I shall henceforth proclaim myself 'Kingmaker'...

I'll just repost what I said in the Facebook page... Really enjoyed the company, gracious opponents, venue and curry this weekend. I hope to be back again next year. Thanks to Doc and the Godmanchester league guys. Great tourney.

Plus I got 4th place with my Necros... I was expecting normal mid table mediocrity... But a European place! Wow! Even with a golem with no arms and a tailless werewolf!... A great deal of luck helped too!

I thought I'd post up the results that people are truly interested, rather than the boring BB ones.

The results from the Goblin Tossing Cup 2016 are:



We had a tie between PurpleGoo and sir_smokesalot, so in true goblin fashion, the winners of the tie-breaker were the 3rd-placed team, kokopelli23
Absolutely nothing to do with him using a goblin troll. Not at all.

Hoping that the Tossing Cup will be back next year... possibly with a third event added in as well! Watch this space!!
(or more likely, watch a different space... it won't be on this topic, that would be silly)
