There are a lot of artists out there that would do this for "free" and use it to build their portfolio. There is probably a college "kid" out there as well, that would gladly do this for a pizza and a case of beer. There is probably another that would do it, if he/she gets one of the final miniatures to put with their drawings and add to their portfolio.

Having done a drawing that is then converted into a final product and being able to point to a real world company helps set you apart from other artists when looking for work. So even though the pay may not be monetary, the artist does get a benefit from it.

I have done it myself. I'll do engineering/architectural drawings for friends so that they can get permits as long as I can take pictures of the final project and use them in my marketing.

Anyways...

I'm still on the fence, since I already have too many mini's to paint. Wonder if I could convert them to use as a Nurgle team.... like have one of them eating Poo or something for Disturbing Presence....
