NAF World Cup Round One draw

OMG! out of 280 people, i draw another flame on'er! And another flame on'er thats playing Skaven! (hes in the A, im in the B team).

There are one, perhaps two matches, that may change before the start of the tournament - this match is one. Although the Committee discussed at length the prospects of teammates playing each other in the first rounds, we decided there was little lasting effect for the team play. Yet it is not impossible to change and it would be more than a little disappointing perhaps to travel to Nottingham only to start with a teammate or someone who plays in your league at home.

No guarantees, but we will do what we can....

After the first round, all bets are off, and no bribes accepted!

I didnt want to cause any problems, i was just pointing out what had happened. As it says, were actually on seperate teams but we have played each other often. I am more than happy to play him in the first game, as i understand the logistical nightmare in trying to organise an event of this size and keep club mates apart.

Unless it's changed, it said somewhere on the NAF site that it's possible for team mates to play each other on the Friday, as the individual scores for games 1-3 don't effect the team scores.

Seems counterintuitive that team mates should play, especially those who have travelled thousands of miles.

I'm sure we can trust the organisers to sort out individual cases as they arise without any probs.
