I actually enjoyed playing against the dreaded Sputnik Dice Cup at the BB. It was just as much fun to see his face when he rolled a 1 as it was for him to see mine when he rolled a 6. :smoking:

I'd much rather that those damn emergency red dice were banned, every time they came out after the first few times i just became resigned to the fact that thyey were gonna pull of a play

I think I'd buy one too.

To get back to topic.

Why not, and I wouldn't be surptised if you have had that idea allready, make the ranking little more similar to the one used with Tennis.

Each player gets points for his wins, and more for a high rankin in a tourney, but gets bonus points as well for beating Highly ranked opponnents.

Add that you lose points for losing and perhaps there's a system that negates things like what happened to Grumble (finish 4th, hardly rise in teh ranking)

NAF dice cups - great idea!

Rolling a D6 to see if you use dice cups - great idea! But are you allowed to use a dice cup on this roll...? Call the tournament referee?

The NAF rankings will become more meaningful over time. But that doesn't mean I won't enjoy my ranking now!

A good system was used at CanCon (NAF organisers please note!). All players in the tournament were AUTOMATICALLY registered with the NAF. Thus the ranking system worked properly (better than at Nottingham, anyway).

Hope this helps.

Cheers
