CURRY!!!
I'll be booking up a meal at Planet Spice in Godmanchester (it's about 5 minutes walk away from the venue, if that!) for the Saturday night. We'll do a final head-count on the morning for an exact number but I'd like to get a rough idea of who is interested... let me know if you're interested (either here or on the FB page... or both, whatever)

Saturday evening, between the last game and the curry, will see the inaugural Boudica Bowl Goblin Tossing Cup!
See rules attached!
We'll probably have minis for anyone who fancies it but feel free to bring along your lucky big guys

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.
Bribe level: good coffee.

Good man
Why have Wood Elf Treemen lost loner (in the Tossing Cup)? And why does it matter if there are no Rerolls?
And why would anyone choose any other Big Guy other than the Treeman? They are the best tossers, only needing a 2+ to toss that Goblin (take root has no effect on the toss, plus Strong Arm from constant tossing). Everyone else needs to make their 2+ Really Bone Head roll and Trolls then need to check if they fancy a snack first.

You're implying I was sober and/or paying attention when I wrote these rules?lunchmoney wrote:Good man

Because fun. This is a first time thing... if everyone power-games it with treemen then in future we'll make the big guy have to move firstlunchmoney wrote:And why would anyone choose any other Big Guy other than the Treeman? (In fact there may be a sneaky rules re-write after some playtesting...

You have noted that the Big Guy can take a run up. Why not incorporate that into the rules? Maybe a +1 to the range to each MA point they use before tossing? Like a javelin run up

Right, hotel booked, in for the Saturday night curry, and probably some goblin tossing.
Do really need to start painting a team...

We'll be playtesting the rules before the event so may tweak them, I'll note down your suggestions

I'll be currying, and potentially also having this 'fun' thing with Sandwich's entertainment.

Gutted I won't be able to make it this year
Another (non-BB) tournament is on locally and it's run by friends.
