Quick rule question.
If a group 1 team plays a group 3 team woold the group 1 team receive 100k of inducements?

Hmm, don't think you've missed it actually.

No they wouldn't get inducements. It's a staggered tier tournament to try and make it a more level playing field for the less-strong teams. IIRC the rules state only halfling master chef and bribes can be bought as inducements for halflings and goblins respectively, so no other inducements.
