i have just finished my woodelf bb team consisting of various models from the fantasy army, and am now starting work on a stand for them.

was just looking for any elven based ads i could use on it

How can i make my own adds? by that i mean what program do i use? if its Photo shop where can i buy/download it as everywhere i look it comes up with crud.

Photoshop would possibly be the most popular. I use the GIMP ( http://www.gimp.org ), which is a freeware alternative to Photoshop.

Paint.NET is another freeware program which - in my opinion - isn't quite as initially daunting as the GIMP.

Wow! I was really put off by the complexity of paint.net. Guess I won't be trying GIMP then.

Am I missing something with Paint.net? I tried the tutorial and all but failed epically. Maybe it's just not engineer-friendly.

BTW I am trying to complete my own BB board & case, and need a custom artwork. I have the pitch, just need the dugouts to be thinner than the existing ones, and to customise the turn & score counters.
