Re: Waterbowl Legacy Team 2014 - Sign Up
Whoop! I won, my 3rd legacy team after I won the first 2 I entered then had a bit of a drought through the next 10 or so...
This one's tremendous, a complete Underworld team, really nicely matching, with Skitter and some cheerleaders to boot. After some last-minute planning (I was taking Khemri previously) I went with +1 Ag gobbo on squig, block linemen, block troll, and frenzy blitzer, leaving skitter to be the turn marker, giving me 4 rerolls (which i often needed!).
Went 2-1-3 in the tournament, getting taken apart by Dalfort's Dwarves, somehow beating Leipziger's CDs, losing to Barney's Orcs to round off Day 1, making absurd numbers of 3+ dodges against SonOfBattlepuppy's Chaos to get the win, sneaking the luckiest of draws against Battlepuppy's Dwarves, then being unable to do anything against Dazlamb's Orcs. Looking back I played 6 bash teams, but each of the games was unique so I can't complain!
Some pics of the team and some action shots:
Amazing Troll from FireOlli:
Skaven from Muttley, Barney, Lauth81 (back row), Mawph, Dalfort, Robsoma (front row)
Gobbos from Battlepuppy, Leipziger, StanRichardson, MightyThor (back row), Sizzler, NippyLongskar, me (front row)
Support from Dazlamb, Pippy, Pazzer (front row) and Skitter from DonVito
Leipziger trying to figure out a one turn score with a bull through multiple tackle zones. Quick snap helped, but not enough!
The dugout after game 1 v Dalfort's dwarves. Thought it might be a long weekend...

Congratulations on turning your fortunes around, Mike. So glad you won this team after we discussed how disruptive it would have been to my plans (only had Plan A with my Dwarves!) It appears after our game your guys learnt how to dodge quickly enough (at least 2 of those injured were Dodge fails...).
Take care and hopefully see you soon at a TT event. Dalfort.
