I see, in that case LRB 5 indeed doesn't change that much.Here in Northeastern North America, it was been pretty common for the last few years under LRB 4 to limit DP to -1/-1; and because Claws were so powerful, they've been limited to 1/team.
We played LRB 4 in it's full, brutal glory. And Dark Elves were just not competitive because the odds of coming up against either Necro's (Claws) or Undead/Khemri/Chaos Dwarves/... (Dirty Players) which could rip or foul your 11-man team apart was just too big.
I'll see whether I can dig up the stats for last year's foul fest tourney (every team gets 1 free dirty player) to show you how much difference a DP can make.
