Re: The White Isle Star Bowl - Nottingham - 21/22 August 201
Exciting stuff! The freebies and prizes are all sorted now.
GW need to know if there are any other dietary requirements (other than Pippy), or even disabilities that they need to know about.
I am asking about us using the GW boards to save you guys bringing your own (unless you have a cool one you want to use).
35/36 coaches is great! Thanks guys!

Pete - there were four chaps at Thrud this weekend that want in. I told them to post here. Still room at the inn?

They seemed pretty keen, I think they got the date wrong and thought we'd done it already.
Fingers crossed!

The new skill rings from Impact are in! I have 40 of each colour as per the photo (grey, white, beige, red) and (green, pink, yellow, blue).
Each entrant gets 8 skill rings as a free gift to help you remember what skills are on which models. Plus, you can write on the rings with biro (also supplied free) and rub it off with a little water afterwards.
Now the important bit: You can pre-register your team for the tourney any time between now and next Wednesday 18th. Send me (email on 1st page) an electronic roster, including your skills, plus your full name and NAF nick. This will allow me to check the roster and for Mrs Purplegoo to enter the details on Score, which will save lots of time on Saturday morning.
The bonus, is that if you preregister, you can also pick your skill ring colours early! I will endeavour to satisfy as many as possible, but it will be first come first served. I'll keep a track of how many of each colour are left on the first post. Only restriction is a maximum of 4 of any one colour. So you could have 4 white and 4 blue, or one of each, or 3 green and 5 of anything else. Flexibility will help!
Thanks guys.

NEWS FROM GW:
Do NOT bring a board or dugout with you. GW will supply them! (Unless you have some funky board that you want to play on, in that case bring it.)
Also on timings:
Curry will be at 6pm on Saturday, with the quiz afterwards.
Sunday entry is at 8:30am, with first game to start at 9am.

YES. They provide the boards. You provide counters and templates. We'll give you free d6's, but you'll need block dice. Not sure if there will be new NAF ones for you - I'll find out!Cyrus-Havoc wrote:Just to be clear do we still need to bring Dice & templates?

Joe - do you want details for the new guy now, or when it is score entry time? also, are you the person to get info on how to set Score up to be most NAF friendly?
