Hi to everyone I met over the weekend.

Thanks to Jason for organising an excellent tournament with some amazing prizes (who got the spot prize for the first successful long bomb? – I though that had my name on it  ) and for answering my rather worried phone call when I realised the 30m queue to get in wasn’t moving.

I’d also like to thank Paul for handing me my only win of the tournament, due to some of the worst luck it’s ever been my pleasure to take advantage of, and Ian, for feeling bad as he put my seventh player into the cas box.

Sam.

My pleasure, Sam. My pleasure. Just for the record, triple skulled with the treeman in T1, doubled oned dodge to complete cage in Sam's half in T2 (meaning he could still blitz the ball carrier needing a straight flash which he of course got). I still had the opportunity to score in T3 as long as I dodged and blitzed away the TZ on the ball but double oned that dodge too - injuring my star wardancer. Oh fantastic. The dice did get marginally better (but not much) on the way to losing 4-1 .....

Had a blimmin terrific game against Jordell's woodies that was 3-1 to me at HT (due to him double oning a score) but I double oned back to make it 3-3. I scored a fourth without a reroll for a few key stages. I blitzed him and recovered and looked likely for 5-3 before he just about rescued it (multi dodging and picking up in TZs) for 4-4 and I so nearly one turned him for a final TD. Draw was fair but nerves were a bit frayed on both sides.

Thanks for the tourney, Jason. Good laugh. Let's hope it's annual - just without the queueing with the roleplayers....

Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when they find out, you're a mile away...... and you have their shoes.
