I’m up for some MtG, sure. I’m not massively into it (picked it up a couple of years ago, but binned it off after a couple of Friday Night Magic events - “my deck is worth two grand”, neckbeards ahoy) but I’ve still got a couple of decks gathering dust somewhere that I can pack.

Also, remember that the period where you can upgrade your Waterbowl entry to Watermonkey closes this weekend.

You can pay an extra fiver & that will get you entry to the Waterbowl *and* Monkeybowl this year. Monkeybowl is on April 7/8 up in Hartlepool and is a great weekend if you can make it.

After Sunday, you'll need to pay the full amount for both tournaments.

For anyone around on the Friday night pre-WB (16th Feb) a bunch of us will be at this place. It's a short walk from the NWGC.

Just googled this place to compare it's location to where I'm staying, and it says 'Permanently Closed'. Dunno how accurate that is?

Hey Merrick, yes we've checked that out this week. They're currently looking for a new landlord so have closed atm.

The place we're going to meet now is called the Puss in Boots. It's really close to the NWGC.

I know some people will probably be free in good time. I'm hoping to be in Stockport by mid-afternoon. But that depends on when the printers have the CDs ready for me.
