Speaking on behalf of the polite part of the Cotswolds, since when has Cheltenham been considered part of the West Midlands???

That’s what I thought!

Elsewhere on here, SAWBBowl (Swindon and Wiltshire etc etc.) is mentioned as being a West Midlands tournament, too.

Can we claim "There is No Such Thing as Bad Publicity"?! Next year, I'm pleased to announce that The Greenstone Cup will be part of the ..............

But to be serious for a moment, SAWBBowl (Wiltshire) is definitely beyond the area envisaged for the West Midlands Champs, see the top post for a list of counties.

Yes and SAWBBowl is also not in the South West. North of the M4 Midlands. South of M4 East of Bristol is London.

Don't talk to me about Worc: another "So Close" for me. Gorgoroth really did suffer from Bad dice in the first, and the more cross he got the worse they got!!

Okay folks, some good news and some bad news.

The good news: The tables are due to be updated and the standings will be put up very soon. They will also be displayed much more regularly, so watch this space.

The bad news: Due to some unforeseen issues, the table is going to need to have the results repopulated. The standings will therefore be somewhat delayed. However, they should be up and running in time for the Mythical Mayhem: Manticore Mug tournament.

From all of us in the WMC committee, we apologise for the delays and we want to thank you for your patience and understanding!

What a crazy time we're going through right now! Godiva Bowl is likely cancelled at this point. The results from the year's Worcester Wargaming Group are on the hard drive of a dead laptop. Solihell fell apart quicker than a chocolate tower in Dubai.

Yet - here we are. The results we have are on the first page and can be browsed at your leisure. The names in italics are folks who haven't yet qualified, but only need to play one more match to do so. Get those tickets bought, folks!

More news to come as we try to resuscitate the championship series after pulling it from the inky waters of inactivity!
