It said on the page to remove the general admission from the cart which of course meant my cart was empty. There was a mismatch between what was in the cart ($40 general admission) and a box summary on the right which had the items, but at $0. Now that I've removed the tickets from the cart, I believe I've been removed from the Blood Bowl tournaments.

It doesn't sound like you've done anything inherently wrong...
If you haven't already you should take that directly to the NOVA Open Website Admins at novaopen@gmail.com
That's definitely a snafu with the web registration that needs addressed immediately since it's likely affecting other events also.
I've shot them an email with your description but you should also so they can fix your registration as-needed.
Thank you for letting us know.

I just heard back from the NoVA Admins - you need to email them directly so they can get the reg sorted out.
Thank you!

Thanks, I believe it's worked out now. I think the issue is I wasn't aware that the tournament is $40 in addition to the price of the con ($50). Like GenCon. I have to admit, it's expensive, although I'm getting 8 games in and I'm sure I'm going to have a blast. C'est la vie.

So how are you handling roster submissions? Timeline's kind of tight with all those games... are we handing them in early to make your job easier? :-)

Yes - Each event is currently listed at $20 currently.
We didnt expect anyone to sign up for both!
Bucking for a Marathon Man award are ye?

Rosters need to be handed in as you check in (and will be verified during game-1 play)
but of course can also be submitted at any time before-hand!
If you want to submit them ahead of time just PM me for more details or with your rosters at any time!
Just include your name and which team you're using for what event(assuming you're not using the same one for both).
It'll make initial setup move that much more smoothly.

This year is shaping up to be bigger and better than we'd imagined.
See you there!

I've been a league guy almost exclusively. I haven't played in a tournament since GenCon around 10 years ago, so I'm making up for lost time.

Which of the two tournaments is the sanctioned one? Since I haven't done the tournament thing in a while, do all players have to be part of the NAF to do it? I am, but my friends are not.

The Day-long Saturday event is the NAF sanctioned one.

Anyone can play: NAF member or not - We welcome all!

Great job bastion01! I had a blast. Next year we should at LEAST double the attendance!
