How do you sit, FUMBBL style? Tourney Style?

Have always played "Fumbbl style" even before LRB. Just easier to reach all the minis!

great question, I love it!

I *have* to sit table top style... literally. One of the reasons I struggle with FUMBBL and just can't *love* it is because of that fact. I have played IRL and my opponent has set up FUMBBL style and I just move my chair and sit at the end.

I struggle to see the plays and tacklezones from the side perspective.

Lovers style all the way. That way I can stroke my opponents legs when they are playing.

That could open up a whole new raft of meta-tactics and maybe spark some BB related romances.

Someone should have done a tournament with that compulsory seating arrangement in weekend nearest valentine’s day.

I haven't gotten to play a TT game in over two years so I've adapted to the side perspective of FUMBBL out of necessity. I prefer tourney style, as you put it, but it doesn't make a damn bit of difference to me really. Just so long as we're dropping dice.

Either is fine. I play most non-Tournament games, FUMBBL style.

I don't really have a preference between FUMBBL style or Tournament style. I'd happily play either way.

Loveseat style would be a little odd though, mainly as you would get in each other's way and it is easier to talk to someone opposite to you, rather than next to you.

I agree. When we first tried playing "Tournament Style", Scott and I felt odd. But we eventually got used to it.
However, I prefer Fumbbl style really.

I chose Fumbbl, but I actually play both for a league.

I prefer the tourny style as it gives you a better appreciation of the space your players fill and how you control the pitch.

Generally I prefer FUMBBL style, as it saves me having to get off my butt and reach figures on the rare occasions I get someone near to my opponents' endzone.

But basically, I play whichever way the board fits easier.

so, because of this thread I tried out the lovers style. it was ok though because I was playing against my girlfriend. we were trying to watch a movie and tournament style wasn't gonna accommodate us. It was a little different playing like that. we didn't really get in each others way either. it was the perspective that bothered me the most. It was also the very first time I played a khorne list.... khorne list in lovers style. that's how I roll
