Well I don't mind a bit of 'over the actual cost P&P' as long as the seller is honest about it. :o You know, it is listed on the auction from the beginning so you know the deal you are bidding on.

I myself sell at a fixed postage and packing rate. This is a bit over the actual cost of the packaging and postal charge. I do not have the time (or inclination!) to pre-package every auction and check the exact cost before I post on E-bay. I used to, but it gets too silly as many people buy multiple auctions and then where are you? You have to tear it all open, re-package it and weigh it again. "Sigh".

I often make a small profit on the packaging. And sometimes make a loss when I take it to the post office and find that it is about .25 grams over into the higher price band.... to the USA!

As long as the seller is not taking the piss, I think it is fine for them to make a little back on P&P. I'd rather they got it then E-bay, who could quite easily regulate the people who rip guys off but seem to not care about it.....

I'm 100% with you on that dwarfcoach. Overseas shipping seems to have gone up quite a bit though. With the weak dollar a lot of sales are going overseas. I've been taking it in the shorts lately on shipping, I may have to raise my overseas charge. I hate doing that. Maybe I'll just add a per additional item charge or something.

Anyone got a good way of figuring shipping?

Chuckle. Don't like E-bay Policy talk to your govt. They can only do what's allowed by the govetnment. When you are dealing with half a dozen countries laws it's very hard to get say oh I don't know ahandfull of bobbies to storm down someones door because they overcharged on a 10-20 dollar mini's posting and handling :). As I said before Buyer Beware. Check out posting and handling before you bid and if you don't get a response about it it might be best to just skip that auction :).
