Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Impact should still have some: http://www.impactminiatures.com/index.p ... id=LI_ARCWRolex wrote:No. But now I WANT THEM!SillySod wrote:Did you use the ARBBL Fimir?Rolex wrote:I made a custom Fimir team from old minis and heroquest pieces that I like a lot (mass prensile tail).
If not, I might have a few left somewhere.
I was sooooooo happy when I got these made via Impact - I'd wanted a BB Fimir since 2nd edition, and never thought I'd see one.

The real issue with the Khorne roster...
I agree with this, pretty much, though I've dabbled with the Slaanesh idea.burgun824 wrote:We don't need any in Blood Bowl. I'll add them to the list with Bretonnians, Slaneesh, Tzeench, and Khorne.
I'd be interested in seeing a Cthulu style team - perhaps a nurgle variant (replacement?). Lots of tentacles, prob some foul appearance.
I know snake sanders is a mutant, but something tells me there's a whole race of them out there, with prehensile tail and hypnotic gaze, perhaps a little stab. Would be keen to see that developed.

Looks fun but very fragile. If those Gnomes get hurt, which is likely, then your whole team is Stupid half the time.

Never did get it balanced right. Still, the idea of unreliable (hence, really stupid) automatons really was quite interesting. The idea would be that the gnomes were needed on the pitch to keep everything running.
Still, fun ideas were the norm back then. Now, very few people post new team rosters because you get all kinds of grief from some people.

I think it depends whether you are presenting a 'silly' roster such as yours or a serious roster that's supposed to be tier 1. The latter should be subjected to severe scrutiny, while the former is more of a 'lets put a smile on their face' thing, IMO.legowarrior wrote: Still, fun ideas were the norm back then. Yup. Reading this thread when it hit around 10 pages we have a perfect answer. Gw make figs and rules. They OWN the rules and the communities are to different amounts bound or not to follow GW. In your example I would say the naf Is strongly bound to the 'rules' so anything gw does I can't see how the naf don't support. It's no big deal as things change and we adaptPodfrey wrote:Joe, you assume by your post that this is 100% Cyanide. It's not. It had GW input, co-operation and approval*.
But if the input, co-operation, approval and recent promotion of a new roster by the legal holders of the IP of Blood Bowl isn't good enough for people (some of whom have previously lamented GWs lack of development of the game) then I think the question should be "what is people's REAL reason for not wanting it NAF approved?"
*that doesn't make it a great roster, as it's not, but (I hope) we aren't debating its merits here
For example as stunties are poor most tournis have an additional prize as compensation and even additional good to compete. It's not 100% in the rules but the overarching position of gw means we are playing THIER game which is fun
