My Ogre who is taking over the league

Post by Xtreme »

I have an Ogre player that has taken our league by storm.

Before I go on to brag about him I have to admit that a lot of his succses is because I am taking advantage of the poor Piling-on rule. But in my defense I only did it because there is another coach who was really abusing it with his Chaos team.

Anyway here he is:

FreakShow 5-5-2-9 Might Blow, Thick Skull, Throw Teamate, Piling on, Frenzy, Block, Bonehead, Big Guy

He has 2 TDs 2 INTs 17 CAS and 1 MVP for a total of 49 SPPs after my next match he should get one more CAS and me at the Star Player level.

He has done all of this in 18 games.

Alright I am done bragging now.
Yeah I feel good about myself :D

He rolled a 6?

My Orc TT team has 3 Int in 7 games...2 on one Black Orc and 1 on another.

Endlessly frustrating for people I'm playing, you can imagine. :P

I once had a longbeard who dominated a league in interceptions. The closest opponent had one and he had 4! He didn't even have pass block or anything. It's all about being in the right place at the right time.

Both of them were desperate throws over the middle of the field and my opponets weren't worried about INT since his AG is so low. Showed them.

AG under 4 doesn't make a difference for interceptions anyway...they all need 6, except with VLL.

Furthermore, players with Catch skill may re-roll their interception attempt. I always forget that...

The Living Rulebook specifically states that extra arms does not help with interception attempts.

Update an the Ogre.
He has been the target of many gang fouls as you can imagine. One particular one got to him after I used my apoth. Of course he was SI'd and rolled a 6,6. So he is down to a 9 armour now. Though he is still the favorite for league MVP.

I feel I have a better Ogre. He has gained one bonus to date, but it is..... Agility 3!
Yes! With this bonus this luverable hunk gets to handle the ball regularily, and throw goblins to their deaths with stunning results. he has even scored on average 1 TD per 2 games played! Incredible.
