How about this idea.

A nation clash (attempt). November being the month. Also deciding the battle of the low countires. If idea doesn't hit, it will be a Belgium-Holland clash only.
Teams made up of 8 people. If a team misses a couple of players (f.i, the Germans manage 5 players, but not

then we can ask Dutch players to fill up the team.
Then there would be room for 48 people, meaning 6 teams of 8 players. Each team will play each other team once.

Kind of a European championship which the Germans will win because the French only win at home and the Brazilians still don't vother to show up.

48 teams, each team plays each team once; that's a lot of games; what I think Lucy means is that each team plays against a team from each of the different countries (5 matches per team, then)

Hmm i LOVE this idea.

Just not sure if 8 players is the correct number for the team size. Could be a little too much if there's travelling involved. Maybe a size of 4 and allowing more than one team per nation (like in Bobsledge) would be better?

6 teams would allow to play 5 rounds and a real final afterwards. You could also go with 8 teams in 2 groups of 4 (3 rounds), then semi and final/3rd place match for the top two of each group (round 4 and 5) and play for place 5 and 7 (round 4). Or 16 teams of 4 players in 4 groups of 4 teams, then quarterfinal/semi and final, still playing for all the lower positions (like in ice hockey world champs).

But if you get teams of 4 players, then the team build up has to become more mixed or several teams from one country.
I personally like the nations against nations idea which seems rather impossible if one nations brings 4 team to the tourney.

Like the other idea's though.....

Splitting the 8-man teams into two four-man teams and then putting them in different groups might help some.

So a kind of BB European Championship by country team !
I like that, 8 players in the team. Who will be the leader of the french team ? DFC ? Longshot ? L-dauguet ? ZeBoss ?
May I play even with my no so good results ?
