DEADLINGS

Post by Thadrin »

It may not mean very much, but if you love this idea of Ithilkir's (Sp?) as much as I do then Stick a vote and a post in here and we'll see if we can persuade Phil to make it happen (for what one of these polls is worth)!

Its about numbers here - and I am a very clear YES.

hm, halflings are... hm, really small minis. And than undead ones... So the minis have to be sculpted very, very good, with lots of details, just to make everybody recognize, thats UNDEAD halflings. Not a easy task...IMO.

I never play this team, but as collector i would try to get some

BTW... are there undead treeman , too ?

Yeah, spelt right :) (or you can just say Ith).

I'd buy them just due to them being undead halfling fantasy football players :) That and I guess I'm the idea originator (or summat). Would deff be cool to say "I did the basic idea for them..."

Well..

Yeah, anyway.. I'd buy them, maybe not straight away but at some point I would.

"No, Phil sucks!" that's pretty f**ked up. It's even more F'd that people checked it. I'm sure a simple NO would have been good. I wonder what GW sculpting wizards checked those anyways.

I think Phil does some great work, the Valk's and Mummies for example.

Anyway, I'm sure Phil can speak for himself- just thought that was pretty bogus and unnecessary.

I would like to see a Dead-Treeman with the team though. Would this team be a mix of necro 'lings? Skeletons, Flesh Golems, Zombies and Mummies.

I would definatly be in on a whole team of deadlings. This would be the coolest team Phil has done since the Razorbacks. Kind of a throwback as well doing stunties again.

I have always been impressed with Phils work and own 1/2 the phigs line. Just imagining what this team would look like gets me excited.

Phil is a great sculpter. I would definately buy a full team of deadlings, and use the 1/2ling rules for them. Hopefully he will make a bone giant type of mini to go with them (for the treeman) :D

Much less fun though!
As soon as I saw someone had actually voted that way I thought immediately "ah. Phil's voted then."
I love Phils work - I have a team of Razorbacks and one of his Nippon teams (though I haven't painted either yet...)
and thats not mentioning a certain well known Mummy who is finally getting a dedicated fig, which is challenging for "favourite BB mini all time".

I have to hold back my vote until the "credit card admission board" or whatever it is decides whether they give me a Visa or not... I should've enough study credits but I don't have a permanent job so it's not guaranteed.
Assuming I have a credit card, I'll be doing quite a few mini orders in July (I'm in Tanzania for three weeks in June so can't do it at that point).
