Hi
Brief intro, im at 100 games with Ogres. Love them. The block dice are just the funniest part of Blood Bowl.
First off:
I was wondering if anybody had some insights on how to play ogres master class style.
As well as insights on setups offense and defence. Are there any good setups with ogres?
Secondly:
Ogres ended top 6 ! in the recent Dutch Open, top tier teams had 2+2 normal skills, stunty had 2/2+2/2 normal/dobbels.
As far as I know he had guard, breack tackle, block and sure hands on ogres.
Im asuming sure hands ogre as ball carrier.
Any body participated that saw some valuable stuff?
Tips, input, anything?

Re: Ogres Master Class (and Dutch Open Ogres)
What! Who wrote those stupid rules?!
...
Oh wait, I did!
Anyway, that did indeed happen, which was more or less what I intended. Not Ogres per se ending up high in the rankings, but 'low tier' teams having a serious chance to compete, and no classic top tier team winning the tournament. Not a single Undead or Wood Elf team was present, which I consider a personal victory!
The rules may have to be rewritten a bit, although if you asked 5 people what they would change (which I did), you'd get 5 different answers (which I got). So, I'll probably end up doing whatever I please and claim it was informed by 'a thorough investigation'!
Anyway, about the Ogres; the player in question is very good, and I think his opponents underestimated him and his team. And he played with 6 Ogres and 1 reroll, which sounds quite insane, but it worked! Unbreakable Snotling Armour Value 5 also helped quite a bit.

Right, the rules look nice (for the stunty coaches)
Well, its "6 ogres or go home" No surprice there.

Galak 3:16 says "There is a point in time that a player really should read the rulebook."
