Cheers. I'll get back to you regarding that ASAP. I have a bit of admin to do with chasing up late payers etc. so I was going to message you back when I get round to doing all of that.
That's fine mate. I'm a very patient (to the point of forgetting if I'm nor careful!) guy. I just wanted to make sure you knew I had sent the pm. Look forward to hearing from you when you have sorted everything

I think everyone want the Team in the house, but don't send the boxes arround Christmas, there are a lot of missing boxes arround these dates.

So, probably better in January?

They are very nice looking miniatures, but to be honest, the time it's taken has been so long that I've almost completely lost interest.

Right now, I'd be happier if they were 28mm WW2 Americans as I don't even play Blood Bowl these days.

I take it you don't understand the concept of crowdfunding then.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

No need to get snarky, it's been delayed beyond the original estimated time. Of course, it's been delayed for the best of reasons (we're all getting a bunch of free and additional stuff which got unlocked, and which had to be sculpted).

I feel like J-Bone was pretty upfront about the chances of this happening. The process is moving along. And we'll all have these frogs for years and years, a week or a month or two more wait time before we get them is no big deal in the long run.

(My plan to take this team to a tournament in February is looking a little shaky though)

Sounds like crowdfunding isn't for you, never jump on a CMON Kickstarter.

That seems a bit harsh to say. To be honest I've had this issue with mutliple crowdfunding attempts. Actually almost every crowdfunding I have done. During the campaign the excitement is high with unlocks and what not. Once the campaign ends though and you aren't obsessively refreshing the campaign page every 30 minutes you start to realize you just paid out a chunk of money with nothing to show for it. Months pass and new ideas and interests come along and you start to wonder if it was worth it. That excitement of the moment is difficult to recapture and if you've gone 12-18 months without something did you ever really need it? So I don't blame the sentiment. I've got this team, the MK1881 chaos team, the Goblinforge underworld team, and the Pro Box all waiting to come in. After spending the last six months in Afghanistan did I ever really need any of it? Frankly will I ever get the time to try and paint them? We shall see I suppose when I get home and they make it in. So yeah, I understand how crowdfunding works and I feel that this is the one drawback you have with almost every campaign. Would I normally comment my lack of excitement of a product on a message board? No. But saying someone doesn't get the process because their interest has changed I don't feel is tied to understanding crowdfunding.

I already have a Slann team - I'm just buying these as I like the minis and wanted to help support Johnny's project. It was quite brave of him to do this - he had to put several thousand pounds of his own money into having the majority of minis sculpted before the kickstarter was even considered - the project could have easily bombed out and he'd have lost all his cash. It's only been the popularity of it that's caused it to drag out longer than he would have wanted.

Keep the faith. Johnny is an ace bloke and won't let us down.
