Re: WIBBLE BOWL 2016 - 1 October - LEEDS, W Yorks
A bit late, but I would like to participate in the tournament. My name is David and it is the first time I would play a tournament in the UK, although I have play quite a few of them over in Spain I don't really know what I need to do to play. If anyone could just write to me to explain me the procedure I would really appreciate .
Cheers

Already sent the payment, all thanks to Spleggy's help. Hope I made it in time.
I am David, aka elperas 22.632, and hoping to do well in the tournament with my new skaven team

Re: WIBBLE BOWL 2016 - 1 October - LEEDS, W Yorks - FULL
Hi Coaches (also sent to all coaches by whatever contact methods I have for them)
Less than a fortnight to go until our tournament and we're pretty excited. This seems like a good time to introduce ourselves and run through a few more details.
I'm spleggy and will be wearing a WYBBL polo shirt with "spleggy" on the back so will be easy to find. Likewise our league commisioner will have one with "indiana-utah" on the back. The "Doktor Avalance" of the team will be a laptop running the Score application which will run the draws, keep track of scoring and so forth.
First up (and most importantly), we need to finish a little earlier. To this end I have revised the schedule for the day. If this presents serious problems for anyone then please get in touch asap.
09.45-10.15 Registration
10:15-12:30 Match 1
12:30-13:15 Lunch
13:15-15:30 Match 2
15:30-17:45 Match 3
17:45-18:00 Awards and close
Secondly since we now aim to complete registration in half an hour (or less) and to expedite matters on the day it would be useful if I could get some of the roster checking done in advance. I myself will be playing of course and wouldn't want to gain advantage from this so I've already shown the league commissioner my roster and won't now change races or tailor it to suit potential opponents. If you're a "last minute sort of person" or decide to change your mind then that's not the end of the world but would ease things a bit and perhaps there will be some sort of non-game affecting incentive too ...
We've having a "one trophy per person" rule so no one is going to take home all the awards. It feels like it will be an interesting contest!
Good luck and see you on 1st October

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.
Bribe level: good coffee.

Great Blood Bowl Saturday, too bad couldn't get a trophy for just 1 td, really looking forward to play again next time and hopefully do a bit better. Thanks to the staff for a fine tournament.

It was good fun. If I'd stopped worrying about you getting the ball and just gone out to murder your players we might have ended up with most TD and most CAS ... but I like to play to (try to) win.soyelpera wrote:Great Blood Bowl Saturday, too bad couldn't get a trophy for just 1 td, really looking forward to play again next time and hopefully do a bit better.
