Well I know what my birthday cash is getting spent on next month!!

Having only just returned to the BB fold Slann have never been a race that has interested me, as there have never been miniatures that represented my idea of the team. That is no longer the case.

Great job J-Bone, you've had a clear idea, stuck to it and now we can all benefit from the effort of Pedro and yourself....

Those last 2 also passed the missus' judgement :) Excellent work on the concepts, and I am certain that Pedro Ramos manages to shape these into a fine bunch of sculpts.

So far deviation from the concept art really is minimal which says a lot about the concepts as well as Pedros talent.

As tablet said, it's goo dto see someone with a clear idea and with the willpower and patience to transorm the idea in to a finished product.

My only worry is the catcher on one leg. Depending on the metal used for casting, it could be an easy break point on the mini. I know some of the Willy Miniatures goblins I have are particularly fragile when connected by one leg. Even pinning them doesn't help if the metal surrounding the pin is soft.

Concept looks awesome though!

the Odell homage is lovely, but will break too easily on the pitch..

In my experience the metal that Willys use is a lot softer than the metal used by the people who will be casting these. I will raise this concern with Pedro though to ensure it is not an issue.

you can keep him leaning back, just either put both feet on the ground, or put something else under his foot like a skull or a broken helmet or other BB paraphenalia..

I actually hope they don't have too many sculpted footballs amongst the catchers.

so, we would have 3 players with a ball in this team, right?
the already done thrower
and the 2 last catchers

(by the way, it's not 100% clear to me, if the last one is running or diving catching :) )

I think the thrower you are referring too is actually a linefrog pointing with one hand and the other in a fist behind his head. There is no thrower in the Slann roster. As for the catchers, I guess we'll have to wait and see.
