He'll be needed for the next Iron Golmes team! :orc:
Haha! I'll let him out of the dungeon as soon as the team's sorted!

These are way clearer pics than on FB! haha. I like that he is a big fat toad, although I may use him without a tongue or a tail. I prefer the tongue in the artwork but I'll wait and see what the actual end mini looks like to make my decision.
Having said that, J_Bone, did the concept of a giant salamander big guy not cross your mind (an amphibian with a tail)? If it did, what made your final decision on the toad?

The idea for the big guy was to make it look like a half-breed frog / lizard so it would look equally at home with either accessory.

You could have good with a Snapping Turtle, then. :D Which is what your sculpt reminded me of.

I'm a British Freebooter, will play for any team including Undead (I have my own Apothecary). Good rates.

When I first saw the BG concept on Fb it was a smaller pic. The first thing I noticed was the head and I thought (until a closer inspection) it was a snapper! haha

Pedro is working on the sculpt for the Big Croaker right now. I'm not 100% on the timescales for sculpting etc but it is in progress and I am still looking to get the campaign up and running early next year. I don't have to use the campaign money for either sculpting or casting so the casting will all be sorted before the campaign starts. I want to make sure I have a high-quality product before I even begin to ask people for money.

1) I love the Big Croaker with the long tongue! Maybe a small fin on the back?
2) The Blitzer with head one - the eyes should be slitty like an amphibian.
3) The Catcher should have slightly bigger webbed hand but I lover the classic frog/toad look throughout these concepts.

Love the concepts.
If the campaign is anything like the Iron Golems campaign with a good mix of freebies, good stretch targets and great looking miniatures.
Certainly having a 16 frog full team around €75 Euros would be a better target but I suppose you have to work out what you can afford/profit/cover the free stretch goals.

Looking forward to seeing the campaign soon! :)

Who needs stretch goals? Get that team out there for +/- 75 Euros and send me a box ;)

Not for me, even though I love them, but my girlfriend would abandon her Necromantic team to play frogs instead.

J-Bone, my girlfriend wants me to tell you to hurry up a bit. She can't wait for either more artwork, greens or nes about the team and asks me every day whether or not there is some scrap of news on the progress here ;)
