Haha... Maybe they will... Just maybe.

From GW standard most ST3 players are much thinner, this represents better a tough player (there is no toughness stat) of AV8 instead of AV7, like dwarves and orcs without armor.
I also like the concept art.

I see your point but most Slann are AV8 as well ;)

I'm a British Freebooter, will play for any team including Undead (I have my own Apothecary). Good rates.

That's why I think the concept art is spot on if it is not representing a catcher, in my opinion you make the miniatures thinner with armor (like Calasins from Impact, dark elves, humans...) or tough as those without armor to represent AV8. The catcher should be more flimsy.

While I am not interested in a full Slaan team, I would be highly interested in the two Slaan star players to complete my Lizardmen team because that concept art is fantastic!

We are looking at doing these with a variety of helms in order to add customisation options as well... :)

I like head 2, but the eye slits on head 1 give a better 'frog' impression.

amusingly enough, the eyes are why I like helmet #2 better. :)

Supercool! The helmets remind me of 2nd ed skaven blitzers. I will be buying this for sure.

That was my initial though too. Head 1 looks more 'froggy', and is a bit less directly evocative of the skaven blitzer, so that's my vote.

If there's going to be 4 blitzers though, there's lots of room to fit both heads.
