Star Player shirt numbers

I am shocked by the lack of convention.

Surely it would go something like (taking Orcs as the example).
1 Troll
2-5 Blitzers
6-9 Black orcs
10-11 Throwers
12-22 Lineorcs
23-26 Goblins
27 Bomber Dribblesnot
28 Ugroth Bolgrot
29 Scrappa Sorehead
30 Ripper
31 Varag Ghoul-Chewer
32 Morg 'n' thorg


Next people will say they don't get all the stars for each team and paint them in the teams colours, instead sharing them between teams!

Black Orcs: 5-8
Throwers (spaces): 9-10
Linos: 11-26
Goblins: 27-30
Troll: 00 or 99

32 Morg 'n' thorg

Are you insane? There is no way a player of Morg's fame, influence, legend, standing etc. etc. would ever consider wearing anything but the number 1 shirt when he plays for a team. Can you imagine what would happen if Morg rocked up to play for a halfling team who gave Morg the number 17 shirt? Not only would he not play for them, but it would be such an insult to the most famous Nuffle Amorical Football player of all time, he'd probably kill several of the team's players and members of backroom staff on his way out.

32 on his shirt? No way!

If you use OBBLM to manage your league, then you can't assign a number to a Star Player, even if you want to... which makes sense to me. They're unquantifiable!
