I'm hoping to go to York in the evening, so I can't help with a lift.

I've had a look at trains, and there is a direct train from Manchester airport to York at 2223, getting in at 0003. Currently ticket is only £9.00.

Hello all,

I am asking a favor to the english guys.

For some work reason (i change my work the 5th january) i will arrive at liverpool airport (21h pm) or manchester (21h35 pm) very late the friday nights (other french guys form paris will arrive sooner with mini bus but i can't come anymore with them).

My favor is : can someone pass at this time in liverpool or manchester and bring me with him to York ?

I hope it will be possible. the other possibility is to find someone to replace me.

Hi Julien - I believe there may be people travelling late on the Friday or early on Saturday from the north west area. Hopefully someone can assist you if the train Barney suggests is no use. I'll spread the word.

I specifically asked for a Union Jack my friend, there may have to be a request for a refund if this binding contract upon payment is not fulfilled

Closest thing to a contract would be the rules pack which requests:

...the captain should provide the following information:

-Which nation the team represents, either from within the UK (Scotland, Wales etc.) or if from overseas...

So on registration you were asked to tell me what constituent nation of the UK the team represents (in the manner of the football/rugby world cups, commonwealth games etc.).

If you absolutely refuse to follow this request I'm sure we can discuss further at EB over a G&T and sort something out...
