Amazon Blitzer : Double 5 : Side-step or +MV

So the topic says it all really, I've an Amazon Blitzer who rolled double five for her second skill-up, already taken Guard as her first.
Can't decide between Side-step and +MV although I'm leaning towards side-step for messing with cages. Would love to hear opinions tho'.

You can see the whole team here if you like. However, the league is over so in terms of opposition it might be all change by the time they play again.

SS could be ok to stack with the other. I personally don't take SS on a double on players who can get SF on singles but I do think it's better. Make sure you make the third Blitzer a T-Pomber!

I would go with +Mv.
It's hard to drive a full Mv6 team, in particular when you have to score in 2 turns... a more mobile guard could help.

Either +MA or Mighty Blow.

I would take S-Step, given that you already have 2 players with the skill. It gives you a complete sideline defense against Frenzy+Juggernaut, and would make your team very annoying to play against, for any team.

I'd be inclined to say +MA. That square of extra movement could make all the difference in a team that lacks anything over MA 6.

Take the mv, sack the av6 before she gets any more spps, and get some wrestle on the team.

Cheers guys, that seems to be four to two in favour of +MV. I do like Smeborg's point about having a Catcher and two guarding Blitzers all with Side-Step.

Side-step for me. The synergy with blodge-guard is really good.

I'd go with the +MA. MA6>7 is pretty big as it allows 2 turn TD's with no GFI's. Plus Blitzers suit mobility being good all rounders.Finally stat increases are cool, something often overlooked when skilling players up. You won't be able to get that multiple stat freak you'll tell stories about for years if you only take sensible normal skills or above average doubles.

SS is ok, but you can get SF instead so JU would be the other choice.

Normally I would advocate for +MA on Amazon players, and would have done so in this case if the player in question were a ball-handler (Thrower or Catcher). However, this is a Blitzer, and I think the synergy of 4 players with Sidestep (I include the second Catcher) will be great, especially as 2 of them have Guard.

6 to 7 isn't really a deal breaker to me. I'd go with SS on a blodging piece so they can really mess with cages.
