Thank you both but I don't think it was a matter of outplaying him, I simply had a favorable match-up and things went our way from the start. He did a great job playing with fewer men and played very well in the second half to prevent me from going up 2-0. Smeborg - in our other league, the Hawkeye League, you may remember I took a Smeborg-style control/stymie Nurgle team to the final but lost on double ones. I will be bringing them back eventually in that league to try and capture both leagues with different-style Nurgle.
As for the Critical League next season, I will be playing GOBLINS, my favorite team! In our league, the defending champ gets a special privilege of one free armor reroll per game! So the Goblins get a little more dangerous!
