Warbear is half size Lug is (and half priced  ), making possible to use it on a regular pitch
Lug is taller and wider than GW ogres

To my eyes it's also very reminiscent of Impact's Bear model.

I like Willy's stuff and the man himself...but the minis could be less obviously inspired by other minis.

Which is the same size as Willy's looking at the base for comparison but less than half the price.

Yeah, I have the above bear. Quite big, but troll-sized.

Anyone else thought of 'the golden compass'? :) btw I like the model.

In fairness Willy's is pribably metal. The Impact bear is now Resin.

Resin is 10 dollars and metal version 18 dollars. Impact has both versions.

This bear model though, is nice.

Cheap is all well and good, but some cheap models I wouldn't have in the house.

the Willy bear looks lovely.. as Jam said, all very Golden Compass to me (off the record, I may never have been more disappointed in a movie in my life than that film, with the possible exception of a Phantom Menace.. shudder... )

if it's half the size of Lug as claimed, it would make a better Ulf IMHO.. I never liked the fact that they were renamed to Norse Werewolf.. what a crock of sh*t.. they should have been Werebears from the get go, in which case this mini could be a great representation..
