Can you not just draw team v team? Each team has a nominated captain, 2 & 3rd member ( the 2 & 3 decided by NAF rankings say or nominated by captains prior to round one) who play their opposite number within the draw?

Just a thought...

ooh I like this idea! it means I might actually get to play al and fern play charlotte! also the possibility of playing ceetee for the third time and maybe not drawing.

Grrr!!!! Just been having a play with Score (trying to pre-enter as much as I can now), and found a new problem! It only checks if the coaches have played already, not the teams, so I'm going to have to check each round manually to make sure it's not drawing the same teams together - didn't seem to do that when I tested it earlier.

Might have to go back to the fall back idea of running 2 Score tournaments, one where the coaches are the Teams, and the other with the individual scores, so I can make each round manually.


Unless someone comes up with a new improved version of Score, or a new tournament software, can't see myself doing this again!

I don't think it's actually something my end this time - I think it's just the way Score works.
That said, on thinking on it, as long as it doesn't pair the teams on the same day (i.e game 1 and 2 or 2 and 3), it's not an issue, as the teams will be different the two days, and you won't play the same person again.

.....having to play Gazza once in a weekend is about the limit IMHO, if I was draw against him a second time in the same tournament I'd probably want my money back.....

I think it's good not to play the same person twice, I'd like to play loads of different people.

Also the stadings will carry over I assume, easier to see who's won at the end then running two seperate sessions and trying to work it out manually.
