Re: Ribble Rumble (27th & 28th of July, 2013)
Okay, here goes...
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, but as we were in Preston it was mainly the worst of times. An extraordinarily inebriated Don Vito came staggering over to the table and asked me to lend him £20. In the interest of discretion I didn't ask him what he planned to spend it on but said, in the clearest, most explicit terms that 'Dave, I will lend you £20 but I want it back tomorrow'. He agreed to this and I handed him the £20. This was my first mistake.
After receiving this bursary he immediately thrust it into the hands of the nearest stripper and told her to dance for me. I politely declined and said that if he borrowed this purely for this purpose then I would like my money back. However as the money was now in the possession of a stripper it was to her that I directed my request for a refund. This was my second mistake.
Due to the club's stringent (and completely un-advertised) no refund policy I was out of pocket by £20. I was however confident that Dave would pay me back as he nobly jumped on the grenade and took the dance for himself. However, when questioned, the increasingly shit-faced Don Vito had no re-collection of ever accepting a loan from me and instead considered himself to be the middle-man in a transaction that I had no idea was taking place.

It was all a bit of a fun escapade though and the necessary smileys are to be inserted:

Oh Sizzle.
Sizzle, Sizzle, Sizzle
You can't ask a lapdancer for a refund, you just can't
But don't worry, in retellings of this escapade that will be the crux of the matter; that you asked a stripper for a refund
And to think, there were times during this thread that I thought Stick would be the naughty one on that excursion

They've been sent to the NAF, but the actual results are saved on Dave's laptop.

Cheers Dave, you are a star.
Maybe a reality tv or late night roulette type star rather than a Brad Pitt, but still, a star in your own right and this is why we love you!

What I donate to the city of Liverpool, I dishonestly obtain from Sizzle. It's like the circle of life, only, not at all like it....

And long will the circle continue. Somewhere at Bunker Bowl 2014 is an ECBBL tenner with my name on it.Don__Vito wrote:What I donate to the city of Liverpool, I dishonestly obtain from Sizzle. It's like the circle of life, only, not at all like it....

Aye, and the sheer amount of Guiness we'd poured down our necks by then. I'd have never asked soberValen wrote:Not sure it was fair asking me while there was a pair of strippers boobs in my face lolJT-Y wrote:Valen has already agreed to run BB for me whilst I'm more hands on with other stuff.
